The Light Sees You Homeless
The mask you wear today is heavy, hiding the terrifying truth that you have nowhere to go when the sun sets. You smile at work, you nod in meetings, but inside you are calculating distances and weighing options, wondering where your head will rest tonight.
The world sees a person holding it together, but the light sees the exhaustion behind your eyes. The light sees the fear you are carrying alone.
There was a woman who had lost everything—her health, her money, her standing—and she pushed through a crowd just to touch the edge of a garment. She did not have a home to go to.
She did not have a plan. She only had the desperate reach for something real.
And the light stopped. It turned in the middle of the noise and called her daughter.
It saw her not for what she lacked, but for who she was. You are seen with that same clarity right now.
The light does not need you to perform okayness. It does not require you to have an address to be worthy of love.
The kingdom belongs to those who have nothing, and it is given to them as a gift. You are not defined by the roof over your head or the lack of one.
You are defined by the light that walks beside you, even in the open air. The night will come, but the light does not depend on a place to shine.
