Lay Aside the Mask of Performance
The mask slips now as the house goes quiet, and the weight you carried all day presses deep into your chest. You have spent twelve hours pretending the world is not breaking, pretending you are not breaking too.
But the light that lit your way through the crowd is still here, waiting for you to sit down. It does not care for your performance; it only cares for the one who is tired.
Take the face you wore and lay it aside, for the Father's love is a peace that finds you exactly as you are, broken and whole at once. You are not alone in this quiet, and the darkness outside cannot touch the light that has been inside you all along.
