The Mask Slipped and You Were Held
The mask slipped. Just for a second.
And now you are lying here in the dark, replaying the exact moment their eyes shifted, convinced they have filed that crack away for later use. You are certain they saw the fracture and are now calculating how to break you.
But listen — the darkness has not overcome the light that shines within you, even when you feel exposed. That look you saw?
It was not a weapon being sharpened. It was simply a human being seeing another human being, finally.
You are terrified they will use your weakness against you. The truth is far stranger: the light in them recognized the light in you, however briefly it flickered.
What you call a vulnerability, the Father calls an opening. You are not being cataloged for betrayal.
You are being seen, and in that seeing, you are held.
