The Mask Is For The World
The mask is heavy this morning. You have spent hours curating every word, polishing the surface so no one sees the depth of the pain underneath.
It is exhausting to perform okayness while breaking inside. But the light does not need your performance; it sees right through the costume to the person beneath.
There is a truth that lives in you which cannot be hidden, and it is already shining whether you feel ready or not. You do not have to hold the facade together for the light to love you.
The mask is for the world; the face beneath it is for God.
