The Light Does Not Respect The Performance
The mask is heavy this morning, isn't it? You walk into the room smiling, carrying the weight of a hundred sleepless nights, terrified that if you ever let it slip, everyone will see the exhaustion and walk away.
But the light does not respect the performance. It respects the truth.
There was a moment in a garden, long ago, when the light itself fell on its face in the dirt and whispered, 'My soul is overwhelmed.' It did not pretend to be strong. It did not hide the terror.
And the Father did not leave. He sent an angel to strengthen what was breaking.
You are afraid that your weakness will drive love away. But the only thing that drives love away is the wall you build to hide the pain.
What you bring forth will save you. What you bury will destroy you.
Take off the mask. The ones who are meant to stay will not run when they see you tremble.
