Your Silence Is Not Pushing Him Away
The mask is heavy this morning, isn't it? You walk through the day wearing a face that says you are fine, while inside you are terrified that your silence is actually blasphemy.
You feel like God is standing just behind your shoulder, waiting for you to say the wrong thing so He can finally leave. But listen to the truth that cuts through the performance: the light does not wait for you to speak correctly before it stays.
There was a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years, untouchable and unclean, who thought she had to sneak up and touch just the edge of a cloak to be worthy. She didn't say a word.
She didn't get the theology right. She just reached out in her terror.
And the light stopped the entire crowd to turn around and call her daughter. God is not looking for a perfect prayer to justify His presence.
He is already here, in the mess of your unspoken fear. Your silence is not pushing Him away; it is just the sound of you holding your breath while He holds you.
