The Light Loves Your Real Face
The mask is heavy this morning, isn't it? You wear it because you are terrified that if you finally speak your own truth, the people who loved the version of you that served them will immediately leave.
You walk through the day performing okayness, smiling while breaking inside, convinced that your authenticity is the price of your abandonment. But listen closely — the light does not love the costume.
It loves the face underneath. There is a truth that lives in us and will be with us forever, and it does not require you to shrink to fit the room.
If the love around you vanishes the moment you stop performing, it was never holding you to begin with. It was only holding the role you played.
The light is not afraid of your honesty. It is waiting for you to take the mask off, not so you will be alone, but so you can finally meet the ones who love the real you.
The truth will not drive them away; it will drive the impostors out.
