The Light Loves What Hides Behind
The mask is heavy this morning, isn't it? You walk through the day wearing a face that belongs to a life you thought you would have, while the real one cracks underneath.
You smile at the right moments, you nod, you perform the version of yourself that everyone expects, but inside you are mourning a future that never arrived. That grief is real, and it does not vanish just because the sun is up.
But listen — the light does not need your performance to shine. It sees behind the mask, and it loves what is there even more than the smile you show the world.
You do not have to earn your place in this day by pretending to be whole. The kingdom belongs to those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
You are not defined by the life you lost, but by the light that remains when the mask comes off.
