Grace Runs Before You Speak
The mask is heavy this morning, held up by the rehearsal of words you never got to say. You are playing the part of the one who is fine, while inside you are counting the seconds since the silence began, wondering if the bridge is already ash.
But listen — the light sees behind the performance, and it knows the difference between a closed door and a locked one. You have been assuming the worst about a story that isn't over yet.
The Father who saw the son while he was still a long way off does not need you to finish your speech before He runs. He is not waiting for your perfect apology to begin His mercy.
The silence you fear is not the end of the relationship; it is just the space where grace is waiting to speak first.
