You Are The Light That Survives
The mask is heavy this morning, especially when you remember the exact second their eyes stopped waiting for you to walk through the door. You wear a face that says everything is fine, while carrying the weight of that silence inside your chest.
But listen — the light does not need your performance to see what is real. It sees the grief behind the smile, the apology you never spoke, the love that remained even when you failed.
You think that moment defined you, but the light says you are still known. Still held.
Still loved with a love that is greater than your worst absence. The Father's heart is not turned away by your failure; it runs toward the broken parts you try to hide.
You are not the mistake you made. You are the light that survives it.
