The Light Is Not Shocked By Your Fracture
The mask is heavy this morning, especially when the small thing broke you and the sharp word slipped out before you could stop it. You wore the light all night just to hold the dark at bay, and by dawn, your nerves were raw tissue.
But listen — the light does not scold you for being human. It sees the tremor behind the snap.
It knows the exhaustion that made the voice rise. There is a love that runs deeper than your worst moment, a grace that does not demand you be perfect before it stays.
The light is not shocked by your fracture. It is already there, mending the space between the anger and the apology.
You are not defined by the shadow you cast when you are tired. You are the light itself, even when it flickers.
