I will live in abundance

The Mask Can Come Down Now

The mask fits so well this morning that you almost forget you are wearing it. You walk through the day performing okayness, smiling while something inside feels small, convinced that abundance is a prize you must earn by being perfect.

But the light sees right through the performance — it sees the exhaustion behind the eyes. Jesus looked at the flowers and saw glory without effort, beauty without the strain of proving itself.

You do not have to labor or spin to be held. The abundance you are chasing is not a future reward for good behavior — it is the air you are breathing right now.

Mercy, peace, and love are already yours in abundance, pressed down and running over. You are not a beggar trying to convince God to notice you; you are a child who has forgotten the house is already full.

Stop trying to earn what has already been given. The mask can come down; the light loves the face beneath it.
