the paralyzing fear that setting a boundary will make you unlovable and cause everyone to leave

Loved Exactly Where Your No Begins

The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You smile at the desk, you nod in the meeting, but inside you are terrified that speaking a single 'no' will make everyone turn and walk away.

You think your love is only valuable if it has no edges, no limits, no door that can be closed. But the light does not ask you to dissolve yourself to be held.

There was a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off — broken, ashamed, empty-handed. He did not wait for a promise.

He did not demand a change. He ran.

Before the apology, before the speech — he ran. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world not to consume you, but to reveal you.

Setting a boundary is not an act of rejection; it is an act of truth. And whoever lives by the truth comes into the light.

You are not unlovable because you have limits. You are loved exactly where your 'no' begins.
