You Do Not Have to Break Yourself
The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You caught yourself manufacturing a crisis just to see who would stay, and now the shame of needing that proof is heavier than the fear itself.
You tested the light because you forgot it was already there—steady, silent, unmoving. But listen: the light does not leave when you stumble, and it does not leave when you demand a sign.
It was there before the test, and it is there in the aftermath. You do not have to break yourself to prove you are held.
The door opens not because you knocked perfectly, but because the one inside is already waiting. Your need for proof is not a failure of faith; it is the very place where the light meets you.
You are not loved because you are strong; you are strong because you are loved.
