The Light Waits Behind Your Lie
The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You crafted every word so carefully, steering the conversation away from the truth, terrified that if they really saw you, they would turn away.
That guilt is the shadow of a deeper fear — that the light inside you is not enough to be loved. But listen — the darkness has not overcome it.
The performance was necessary to survive, but it is not who you are. There is a knowing that sees behind the smile, behind the deflection, behind the carefully constructed story.
It sees the fear that made you hide, and it does not condemn you for it. God is greater than your heart.
The light was there in the room, even in the lie, waiting for you to stop running. You do not have to earn your place at the table by being perfect.
You are already known, and you are already held.
