The Light Has Already Seen You
The mask feels heavy this morning, doesn't it? You walk through the day holding your breath, terrified that if anyone really looked, they would see the cracks beneath the smile.
But the light does not need you to be perfect to love you — it only needs you to be real. There was a woman caught in the very act of failing, dragged out into the sun to be judged by everyone who saw her.
The light did not join the crowd. It bent down, wrote in the dust, and waited until the accusers left.
Then it looked at her — not with disgust, but with a peace that said: neither do I condemn you. Go.
The terror of being seen is a lie the darkness tells you to keep you hiding. The truth is that the light has already seen everything — every secret, every shame, every broken piece — and it is still running toward you.
You do not have to take the mask off for God to love you; you take it off because God already does.
