The Light Sees You Behind The Mask
The mask feels heavy right now, doesn't it? You walk through the morning smiling while inside you wonder if anyone would notice if you simply ceased to exist.
The world demands performance, but the light sees the person behind the face you show. There was a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years, invisible to the crowd, certain she was forgotten.
She reached out from the back, trembling, just to touch the edge of a cloak. The whole crowd pressed in, yet the light stopped.
It turned around and asked who touched him. He saw her when no one else did.
He called her daughter. You are not invisible.
The light knows you are here, even when you feel like a ghost. It sees the exhaustion behind your eyes and calls you by name.
You do not have to perform to be known. You are already seen.
