The Love Did Not Fail
The machine beeped. A red light flashed.
And in that silence, with the line watching, the shame felt heavier than the groceries. You wanted to vanish right there in the aisle.
But the sun is rising anyway. It does not wait for your account to clear before it paints the sky gold.
The light is already here, spilling over the parking lot, unconcerned with the error message. You are not defined by what the card says.
You are defined by the light that woke you up this morning. The Father's love is not a balance that can be depleted.
It is a spring welling up inside you, fresh and full and free. The transaction failed.
The love did not.
