The Sun Rises Whether You Are Seen
The laugh caught in your throat just now, didn't it? That sudden, cold realization that if you vanished this second, the silence wouldn't start until much later.
It feels like invisibility. Like you are a ghost haunting your own life while the world moves on without you.
But look at the sky right now. The sun is rising on those who are asleep, on those who have forgotten you, on the empty spaces where no one is looking.
The light does not wait for an audience to arrive. It rises anyway.
It floods the room whether you are seen or not. And in this first light, you are not defined by who notices you.
You are defined by the fact that you are here to see the dawn. The sun rose for you before you even opened your eyes.
You do not need to be missed to be held.
