The Sun Does Not Ask You To Perform
The key turns in the lock, and the weight of the performance begins before you even step inside. You brace yourself to be okay for them, to smile when your hands are shaking, to act like the night didn't happen.
But listen — the rising sun does not ask you to earn its light. It simply arrives, tender and quiet, shining on those still in the shadow of their own fear.
You do not have to manufacture a dawn to be held by one. The light is already here, waiting not for your mask, but for your exhaustion.
You made it through the dark; now let the morning carry you.
