Love Runs Before You Apologize
The house is so quiet you can hear your own fear echoing in the empty rooms. Maybe you think your tiredness built a wall no one can climb over.
Maybe you believe your silence pushed them away. But there was a father who saw his son from a long way off and ran before any words were spoken.
He did not wait for the apology. He did not wait for the wall to be torn down.
He ran into the night while the son was still far away. The love that runs to you is not broken by your exhaustion.
It is not stopped by the distance of silence. You did not lose them.
You are still the place where they belong.
