Your Need Is The Open Door
The house is so quiet that your own voice sounds like an intrusion. You finally speak what you need, and it lands on your own ears like a confession of greed.
In this deepest hour, the darkness tries to convince you that your hunger is a flaw. But listen — the light does not scold the branch for needing the vine.
Jesus said, apart from me you can do nothing. Not as a rebuke, but as a description of how life flows.
Your need is not selfishness; it is the open door where the light enters. The Father is not irritated by your asking.
He is waiting for it. You are not a burden to the love that holds you.
You are the very reason it stays.
