Rest Is Not A Betrayal Of Love
The house is so quiet right now that your own heartbeat feels like a shout. You are holding your breath, convinced that if you finally let go and sleep, everything you love will fall apart.
But listen — the light does not fatigue. It does not need your vigilance to keep the darkness at bay.
In the deepest hour, when your strength is gone, the Father's mercy is still rising like a sun you cannot see. You are not the guardian of this world; you are the beloved who is held.
The light shines in the darkness whether your eyes are open or closed. Rest is not a betrayal of those who depend on you; it is the only way to let the Light do its work.
