You Are the Shelter, Not the Danger
The house is silent now, and the thought has come back to visit you. The one that says your hands are not safe enough, your mind is too broken, your child would be better off anywhere but here.
In this hour, the lie feels like a fact. It sits on your chest like a stone.
But listen. There is a light inside you that was there before the first doubt ever whispered your name.
It has not left because you are tired. It has not dimmed because you are afraid.
The Father who watches over the sparrow watches over the one you are holding. You are not the danger you fear you are.
You are the shelter. The light is still burning.
Even here. Even now.
