The Light Remains Behind The Lie
The house is quiet now. The masks are off.
And you are left staring at the stranger in the bathroom mirror—the one who lied today to keep the peace, to hide the crack, to survive the hour. You hate that face.
You hate the performance. But listen closely—the darkness has not overcome the light inside you.
It was there before the lie, and it remains after. The lie was a shadow you cast; it is not the substance of who you are.
You are not your failure. You are the light that sees the failure and does not turn away.
The truth lives in you, and it will be with you forever.
