The Light Runs Before You Speak
The house is quiet now, but your mind is loud with words you cannot say. You have typed the message a hundred times, only to delete it when the cursor blinks like a heartbeat you're not ready to match.
You dial the number, but the moment a human voice answers, the line goes dead. The fear of being heard is heavier than the silence you're trying to break.
But listen — the Light does not wait for your speech to be perfect, or even finished. It heard the father's son while he was still a long way off, rehearsing his apology in the dust.
The father did not wait for the words. He ran.
The Light is already running toward the version of you that cannot speak. You do not have to send the text to be found.
You do not have to finish the sentence to be held. The silence is not a wall between you and love; it is the very space where the Light is already kneeling, waiting for you to simply look up.
