The Light Waits For Your Rest
The house is quiet now, but your mind is loud with the effort of holding yourself together. You are terrified that if you admit how tired you are, the mask will slip and everyone will see you are not perfect.
But the light does not need your performance to love you. It sees the exhaustion you are hiding, and it does not turn away.
There is a rest that is not earned by staying strong, but given to those who simply stop. The Father who counts every hair on your head knows exactly how heavy your eyelids feel right now.
You do not have to prove your worth by pretending you are not breaking. The light is not afraid of your fatigue.
It is waiting for you to put the armor down. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
The perfection you are trying to protect was never the point. The resting is.
