You Do Not Have to Be Invisible
The house is quiet now, but your heart is still racing against the silence. You are lying there, rigid as a stone, terrified that any shift of your weight will disturb the one you love.
You wait for them to turn over just once, so you can finally exhale, so you can stop feeling like an intruder in your own bed. But the light does not require you to be still to be held.
There is a peace that exists even in the turning, even in the waking. The Father's house has many rooms, and there is space for your restlessness too.
You do not have to earn your place on the mattress by becoming invisible. The light sees you trembling in the dark, and it calls you by name anyway.
