Stop Hiding Your Scars From Them
The house is quiet now, but your heart is racing because you saw it today. You saw the shadow cross their face when they made a mistake.
The same shadow that used to cross yours. They are learning to hide from you, just as you learned to hide from your own parents.
And in that reflection, you see the chain of silence tightening again. You want to scream that it is safe to be broken, but the words stick in your throat.
Tonight, the light speaks a different rhythm. It says: the truth lives in us and will be with us forever.
Not the perfection. The truth.
The child who knows they can be known is the child who stops hiding. You do not have to erase your past to heal their future.
You only have to stop hiding your own scars. Let them see the cracks where the light got in.
Let them see that mistakes do not make you unlovable. The cycle breaks not when you become perfect, but when you become real.
