You Do Not Have to Wake Them to Be Real
The house is quiet now, but the silence between you and the person sleeping beside you feels louder than the night itself. You have stopped trying to be known.
You have stopped reaching out a hand in the dark, afraid that if they truly saw who you are, they would pull away. So you stay still.
You stay hidden. But listen — the light does not require you to perform or to explain yourself to be held.
There is no fear in love, because perfect love drives out fear. Even now, in this stillness, the truth lives in you and will be with you forever.
You do not have to wake them to be real. You do not have to speak to be seen.
The light already knows the weight you are carrying, and it is not afraid of your silence. You are not alone in this room; you are held by a presence that needs no words to understand you.
