The Light Was Already With You
The house is quiet now, but the noise in your head is still loud. You are staring at the black screen, replaying the way your laugh sounded a little too bright, a little too empty, wondering if anyone else heard the hollowness underneath.
You are rehearsing excuses for why you left early, building walls out of words so no one will ask what you were running from. But listen — the One who sees in the dark is not checking your performance.
He saw you slip out the side door, and He did not call it failure. He calls it finding.
There is a light inside you that does not need to be loud to be real. It was there before the party started, and it is here now, in the silence, waiting for you to stop performing and just be.
You do not have to explain your absence to the Light. It was already with you when you walked away.
