The Love Is Already Here
The house is quiet now, and your mind has turned into a rehearsal hall for the end. You are walking through the service in your head, counting the faces, measuring the tears, trying to calculate if your absence would leave a hole large enough to prove you were here.
It is a lonely math to do in the dark. But listen — the light does not wait for a eulogy to know your worth.
There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off. He did not wait for the speech.
He did not check the guest list. He ran.
Before the apology, before the proof of love — he ran. The light is already running toward you, not because of who would cry at your funeral, but because you are alive right now.
You do not need to die to be missed. You are known by name, not by the crowd you leave behind, but by the One who walks beside you in this silence.
The rehearsal is over. The love is already here.
