Light Shines Even in Silent Regret
The house is quiet now, and the words you practiced are burning holes in your throat. You are terrified that speaking them will make the horror in their eyes real again, so you swallow the apology and let it poison you from the inside.
But listen — the light does not need your perfect speech to see the truth of what you carry. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world even when your mouth is shut.
You came from the light, and you are returning to it, regardless of the words you could not say tonight. The horror you fear is not the final verdict on your soul.
You are still that light, even in the silence of your regret.
