Light Unmoved By Your Stumble
The house is quiet now, and the words you tried to speak earlier are replaying in your head, twisted and wrong. You meant to offer remorse, but it sounded like an excuse.
You meant to apologize, but it came out as an attack. In the silence of this watch, the failure feels final, as if the damage is done and the light has gone out.
But the light was there before you spoke, and it is there now, unmoved by the stumble. There was a man born blind, and the people around him argued over who sinned to cause it, looking for blame where there was only a canvas for something greater.
The light did not answer their accusation. It simply said the works of God would be displayed in him.
Your broken words are not the end of your story. They are just the moment before the display begins.
The light does not need your perfect speech to love you. It only needs your presence.
