Beneath the Script the Real Voice Returns
The house is quiet now, and the voice you hear in your own head sounds like a script written by someone else. Hollow.
Rehearsed. As if you are performing even for the empty room.
But the light does not need your performance. It does not need the polished words or the perfect prayer.
Jesus told a man once, 'Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you.' He did not say: go and give a sermon. He said: tell them what happened.
Just the story. Just the truth.
The kingdom is not a destination you reach by sounding impressive. It is inside you, right now, beneath the script.
When you stop trying to sound like you have it all together, the real voice returns. The one that knows it is held.
