The Silence Was Never The Foundation
The house is quiet now, and the silence feels like the only thing holding the walls together. You are afraid that if you speak—even one honest word—the whole structure will collapse again.
So you hold your breath. You swallow the truth.
You make yourself small enough to fit inside the quiet. But there is a voice that does not demand your safety.
It only asks for your honesty. 'Take heart,' it says.
'It is I. Do not be afraid.' The light is not fragile.
It will not shatter because you finally exhale. Speak.
The silence was never the foundation.
