The Light Hears Your Heart
The house is quiet now, and the replay has started. You are hearing your own voice, but it sounds wrong—clumsy, rehearsed, nothing like the person you intended to be.
You are judging the gap between the script in your head and the words that actually left your mouth. But the light does not hear the stutter.
It hears the heart. There was a man once who could barely speak, whose tongue was tied tight, and the light simply sighed and said, 'Be opened.' It did not ask for a perfect speech.
It asked for the opening. Your awkwardness is not a barrier to love.
It is the very place where the real you is finally showing up. Stop trying to edit the recording in your mind.
The version of you that stammered is the one that is known. The one that is held.
