You Are Already Home
The house is quiet now, and the only thing loud enough to keep you awake is the exhausting work of editing yourself. You rehearse every sentence before you speak it, terrified that one uncurated word will prove you are too much trouble to keep.
But the light does not require a performance to stay in the room. There is a peace that comes not from getting it right, but from realizing you are already held.
You do not have to polish your soul to make it worthy of love. The Father's light was inside you before you spoke your first word, and it remains there even when you stumble.
You are not a project to be perfected. You are a child who is already home.
