The Light Sees What You Hide
The house is quiet now, and the mask you wore all day feels like it's starting to slip. You are terrified that if you say the wrong thing, if you let your voice tremble just once, everyone will see the hollowness you've been hiding behind the performance.
But listen — the light does not need your armor to stay lit. There was a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years, untouchable and empty, who thought she had to sneak up and steal a miracle from the edge of a robe.
She expected rejection. She expected to be exposed.
Instead, the light stopped the entire crowd, turned around, and called her 'Daughter.' It did not scold her for hiding. It did not demand she explain her shame.
It simply saw her and named her as its own. The panic tells you that you must be perfect to be loved.
The truth is that the light sees through the performance and loves what is behind it. You do not have to hold the door shut anymore.
