You Only Need to Be Found
The house is quiet now, and the mask you wore all day has finally fallen. In this silence, the fear whispers that everyone else holds a secret map you were never given.
That they are walking in certainty while you stumble in the dark. But listen — the light does not shine because you figured it out.
It shines because it is already there. There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off, still covered in the filth of his failure, still rehearsing a speech he thought he needed to earn his place.
He ran. Before the apology, before the explanation — he ran.
You do not need to pretend you know the way. You only need to be found.
The terror of being a fraud is just the shadow proving the light is real.
