The Mask Slips, The Light Remains
The house is quiet now, and the mask you wore all day finally slips from your face. It feels terrifying to sit here in the gathering dark and realize you cannot find a single desire that belongs to you.
You have become so perfect at being what everyone needed that you forgot who you actually are. But listen — the light does not ask you to perform.
It stands at the door of your heart and knocks, waiting for you to stop pretending and just be. You do not need to invent a new self tonight.
The child of true Humanity already exists within you, buried under layers of pleasing, but still whole. That secret name written on a white stone — known only to you and God — is still there, untouched by the world's expectations.
The darkness is just the place where the performance ends and the real you begins to breathe.
