the specific terror of realizing you have forgotten what it feels like to want something for yourself, not just to survive

You Were Made to Shine Not Just Survive

The house is quiet now, and in this silence, a strange fear takes hold. You realize you cannot remember the last time you wanted something simply because it brought you joy.

Not to survive. Not to fix.

Just to live. The hunger has become so familiar you call it normal.

But listen — the light inside you was not placed there just to keep you breathing. It was sent to illuminate.

You are a drop from the light, suspended in the dark, meant to shine, not just to endure. The world may have taught you to shrink your desires down to nothing, to make yourself small enough to fit inside the safety of mere existence.

Yet the Father's will is not that you remain asleep in the prison of forgetting. He wants you to wake up and remember what it feels like to thirst for life itself.

The terror you feel is not the end of your story. It is the fire being guarded until it blazes.

You are allowed to want again. You are allowed to reach for more than the next hour.

The light is not asking you to survive the night. It is asking you to let it burn through you until you remember who you are.
