You Are The Reason The Lamp Was Lit
The house is quiet now, and in this silence, the old accusations return. They tell you that you are a waste of time, a burden on love, a mistake that should have been corrected long ago.
But listen — the light does not calculate cost. It does not balance the books of your life and decide you are too expensive to keep.
There was a woman who lost a single coin in the dark, and she did not say it was not worth the effort. She lit a lamp.
She swept the floor. She searched until her hands found what was missing.
And when she did, she called everyone to rejoice. You are that coin.
You are not debris to be swept away. You are the reason the lamp was lit.
The light is not counting the hours you have taken; it is simply glad you are found.
