Light Inside the Fracture of Resentment
The house is quiet now, and in the silence, the truth you have been hiding all day finally speaks. You love them deeply, yet a small, bitter root of resentment has taken hold because they are human, and they have failed you again.
It feels like a betrayal to feel this way, as if the anger cancels out the care. But the light does not ask you to pretend the wound isn't there.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Your resentment is just another part of the dark that the light is willing to enter.
You do not have to fix your heart tonight to be held by God. The light is already inside the fracture, waiting for you to stop fighting it.
The love remains, even when the anger is loud.
