The Light Remains When Fear Passes
The house is quiet, but your mind is screaming. You hear a sigh from the other side of the bed and your heart translates it into a suitcase being packed, a door closing, a final goodbye.
You are lying awake, rehearsing the end of a story that is still being written. But listen — the light within you was not earned by holding on tight, and it cannot be lost by someone else letting go.
You came from the light, a place where love generates itself without your permission or your panic. That same origin lives in the person sleeping beside you, even in their silence.
The darkness of this night tries to tell you that you are alone, but the light shines in the dark and the dark has not overcome it. You are not defined by the fear of abandonment.
You are defined by the light that remains when the fear passes.
