No Ledger in the Dark
The house is quiet, but your mind is loud with the inventory of every wrong turn you've taken. You imagine your partner keeping a ledger in the dark, tallying your failures, waiting for the count to reach the number where love ends.
But the light does not keep score. There was a moment when Jesus saw Nathanael before they ever met—he saw the hidden things, the secret self, and did not turn away.
He saw you, too, before you spoke a single word of defense. The kingdom is not a courtroom where you must plead your case.
It is inside you, right now, a place where the record has already been cleared. You are not being watched for weakness.
You are being known for who you are. The dawn is coming, and it brings no gavel, only grace.
