You Are the Lamp, Not the Mask
The house goes quiet. The performance ends.
And in that sudden silence, you realize you don't know who is left standing when the mask comes down. It feels like falling into a void where your name used to be.
But listen — the light does not need your performance to know you. It saw you before the acting began.
There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world. If it does not shine, it is dark.
The identity you are searching for is not a role you play. It is the light that was placed inside you before you ever learned to pretend.
You are not the mask. You are the lamp that holds the fire.
Stop trying to build a self from scratch. Just bring forth what is already within you.
What you bring forth will save you.
