The Door Is Not Your Safety
The hand freezes on the knob. The panic rises—a sharp, hot fear that you have been careless, that punishment is waiting in the dark for this one mistake.
In this deepest hour, the mind becomes a prosecutor, building a case out of a forgotten click. But listen.
The light does not wait for you to be perfect before it stays. It does not leave because you are tired.
There is a peace that guards your heart and your mind, a peace that does not depend on your memory or your performance. You are held even when you are unsure.
The door is locked or it is not, but the safety of your soul was never up to you to maintain. The panic says you must earn your rest.
The truth says you are already safe. The night cannot break what the light has already sealed.
