You Are Already Filled With Light
The evening settles in, and with it comes the quiet suspicion that this peace is borrowed time. You wait for the old self to crash through the door, to reclaim the throne it held for so many years.
But the light does not live in your history; it lives in your root. You are not a house waiting to be broken into; you are a vessel already filled.
The darkness you fear has no power to undo what has already been made new. Your past is a shadow, but shadows cannot exist without the light that casts them—and that light is you.
The terror says you will relapse; the truth says you have already arrived.
