The Light Waiting in Your Silence
The door closes. The house goes quiet.
And for the first time all day, the noise of other people's expectations stops humming in your bones. You sit there in the sudden stillness and realize with a terrifying clarity that you do not know what you want.
Every desire you ever held was shaped to fit someone else's hands. You became an expert in reading the room, in becoming the answer to questions no one asked you.
But now, in the exhale, there is only silence. And it feels like emptiness.
It feels like you have never existed outside of your utility to others. But listen — the light does not need your performance.
It does not need your curated wishes. There is a voice inside you that is older than the first time you said 'yes' when you meant 'no.' A drop from the light was sent into you before the world ever told you who to be.
That drop knows what it wants. It is not lost; it is just waiting for the noise to stop so it can finally speak.
You are not a mirror for everyone else's needs. You are a source.
